毛詩正義：國風王風之君子于役（電子版）
《君子於役》，刺平王也。君子行役無期度，大夫思其危難以風焉。
難，乃旦反，下注同。風，福鳳反。
君子於役，不知其期，曷至哉？
箋云：
曷，何也。君子往行役，我不知其反期，何時當來至哉！思之甚。
曷音寒末反。
雞棲於塒，日之夕矣，羊牛下來。
鑿牆而棲曰塒。
疏傳「鑿牆而棲曰塒」。正義曰：
《釋宮》文也。又云：「雞棲於杙為桀。」李巡曰：「別雞所棲之名。寒鄉鑿牆，為雞作棲曰塒。」
箋云：
雞之將棲，日則夕矣，羊牛從下牧地而來。言畜產出入，尚使有期節，至於行役者，乃反不也。
棲音西。時如字，本亦作「塒」，音同，《爾雅》同，《玉篇》時理反，鑿牆以棲雞。鑿，在各反。畜，許又反。
君子於役，如之何勿思！
箋云：
行役多危難，我誠思之。
君子於役，不日不月，曷其有佸？
佸，會也。
箋云：
行役反無日月，何時而有來會期。
佸，戶括反，《說文》口活反，《韓詩》：「至也。」
雞棲於桀，日之夕矣，羊牛下括。
雞棲於杙為桀。括，至也。
括，古活反。弋，本亦作「杙」，羊職反。或音羊特反。
君子於役，苟無饑渴？
箋云：
苟，且也。且得無饑渴，憂其饑渴也。
《君子於役》二章，章八句。
