浦始生取其中心入地者名？大如七柄正白生噉之甘脫臠而以苦酒浸之如食筍注

荷芙葉江東呼樹具莖指其葉邁莖下自蘋其花未發為齒䕡已發為夫葉其實蓮蓮青皮裏白子為的的中有青長三分如鉤為薏味甚苦故俚語曰苦如薏是也的五月中生生啖脫至秋表皮黑的成實或可磨以為飯

如粟也輕身益氣令人強健又可為？幽州揚豫取備饑年其根為鶉幽州謂之光旁為光如牛角

王謨本脫依毛晉本稱尺詩韓奕疏引同齊民要術引作如食筍法大美今吳人以為植又以為平云文類聚引作為散初學記作飯覽引作牛角毛晉本作斗角詩澤陂疏青皮裏白子為附所中有青為薏味甚校里語曰苦卵意是也爾雅釋草的中薏疏同
